Follow these steps to get started with Horizon MW
Install Prerequisites
Make sure you have the C++ Redistributables and .NET Runtime package needed to run the Launcher by installing the following programs:
Purchase Required Base Game
Purchase Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered (2017) if you haven't done so already, then install the Multiplayer portion:
Download HMW Launcher
Download the latest HMW Launcher from our official link above or from the Discord channel.
Extract Launcher Files
Unpack all the files inside HMW_Launcher.zip into their own folder anywhere that isn't the directory of the game.
Run the Launcher
Launch HMW Launcher.exe from the folder where you extracted the files.
Configure Installation Directory
Click on the cog button at the top right corner of the screen, then click 'Select Install Directory', navigate to your MWR folder, then finally click 'Finish and Save'.
Download Mod Files
Once the 'Verify game files' button appears, click on it to download the missing mod files.
Reverify Game Files
When the files are finished downloading, click on the 'Reverify game files' button.
Launch the Game
If the files have finished verifying, and you have received the successful verification message, you may now launch the game with the 'Play' button.
The game can also be launched from hwm-mod.exe directly.
